Infrastructure

Our infrastructure experience includes renewable and conventional energy, construction, mining, roads, airports and housing. Our team regularly assists on all relvant contracts, including EPC, O&M, PPAs, toll and annuity contracts and ancillary agreements. Rupin Pawha has been appointed by: the Ministry of Coal to assist in developing the methodology and documentation for award of coal blocks; the central Government of India in relation to the ambitious SAGARMALA PROJECT; and retained to assist in creating model documents for the compressed biogas industry in India, in the context of the Sustainable Alternative Towards Affordable Transportation (SATAT) initiative of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, which is being supported by the World Bank Group. 

Our lawyers have been retained to advise the federal Ministry of Coal in setting up India’s first coal trading exchange and to assist with the US Department of Energy’s “Clean Hydrogen Initiative” in South Asia.
